We protect more than 560 hectares of primary rainforest. Since first opening our doors in 2005, we have protected the only live mountain located just 5 minutes from La Fortuna.
Our zip line platforms are on the ground, in order to avoid causing any harm to the trees.
We created an Indigenous Cultural Rescue Program of one of the smallest ethnic groups in Costa Rica and in Central America. The program benefits more than 25 families from Los Palanques, Guatuso.
Our Park has dedicated itself to documenting the details and important changes in the behaviors of animal and plant species in order to share this information with scientists, conservationists, and our regular visitors.
Our Park respects Law 7600, and disabled people are able to enjoy our services.
