Had a great time, never been on a horse before but Danny showed us how to handle everything and we had a nice ride up to the trailhead and back. The trail itself is about 500 steps, fairly steep but well maintained and easy enough. Down at the bottom you’ve got to cross a narrow river that’s about three feet deep, and climb over some rocks to get up close to the waterfall, all of which was a lot of fun. Good idea to bring water shoes in addition to your regular shoes, plus a towel if you can pack it. Michael CrowTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We booked a 12 zip line tour with Arenal Mundo Adventura April 7, 2026, complete with round trip transportation for 10 people picked up at our resort. From Lester, our driver, to Allen, Jefferson, and others I apologize for not noting more names, we could not be more pleased and grateful for the exceptional experience. The guides would zip in tandem with the first timers scared but anxious to see how awesome zip lining can be. These guys are top notch, you can’t go wrong with them. Pura Vida! Kaelyn McHughTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We did the 14 line ziplining experience with the horseback ride at the end. I had a fantastic time! However, my mom and sister did not have as great of an experience. We all agreed that it felt like we were rushed through it, including an intense and steep hike up many stairs before starting the ziplining. It wouldn’t have been as bad, but we were rushed along to nearly a running pace by the guides. NOTE THIS if you’re just looking for ziplining, and aren’t prepared for a steep hike, or may be already tired from other hiking days! The equipment was safe, and our guide Brian was very friendly. The horseback riding was so fun, and the horses were well-taken-care-of and well-behaved. Overall, I still had a fantastic time because of the thrills and the views!Google rating score: 4.7 of 5, based on 1012 reviews
